Knowing My Worth…And Why I’m Moving On

Dear Bad Ads,

We need to talk…I think we should break up, and it’s not me. It’s you.

It’s just…I met someone else. They don’t just show up on the screen and collect dust, but they actually work towards my goals with me. They’re 3D, animated, targeted, and completely custom. The truth is, today’s digital world moves too fast for bad, blurry, boring ads.

Here's the thing, I’m exposed to 10,000 ads a day across platforms – I have options – and my attention span online is measured in mere seconds. If you can’t emotionally connect to me, then you’re superfluous in my life. 

Did you know that animated ads in general have a 20% higher engagement rate than static ads? And you know I want to be engaged!! And in tests of static vs. animated ads, there’s an average brand recall increase of 25% for animated units. It’s all about remembering the little things.

You had potential to be beautiful, but you’ve really let yourself go. It’s not my fault that you just sit there on the screen all day, practically making me nod off with boredom.

To use an “I” statement…I feel like you never saw me. And honestly, I never really saw you either. Because you were blurry. HOW are ads still over-pixelated and indiscernible in 2025? You were quite literally destroying my trust and reputation. You embarrassed me. 

The new optimized, dynamic ads just get me. Their 3D assets and high impact technology tell brand stories like no one I’ve ever met. They have captured my attention, and most importantly, made me realize I was wrong to settle.

At the end of the day, I need a real partner. One with impactful targeting, eye-catching creative, and full-blown experiences that consumers remember.

I need Big Happy.
