Job Description

We're searching for an experienced, sales-focused, data-driven leader to join our team as the Head of East Coast Sales. The ideal candidate understands how to combine the art and science of acquiring new customers while growing existing ones. They are a seasoned Advertising leader with B2B experience selling into primarily Enterprise organizations (both agency and client direct), with measurable success in creating and growing a team, accelerating growth, being a member of an executive team, and fostering a winning attitude. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a sales region driving $17M+ in 2025 revenue that will continue to grow over the next 12-24 months in both revenue and headcount.
  • Develop the go-to-market strategy that drives new advertisers to meet key revenue growth targets within the region.
  • Drive high level media agency and client-direct relationships that can foster partnership discussions and assist sellers in breaking through challenging accounts.
  • Help set targets and incentives across the region and ensure performance against core KPIs and revenue targets.
  • Create upsell and cross sell playbooks and opportunities to grow existing business, specifically strategies that promote omnichannel mobile + DOOH.
  • Establish an infrastructure for utilizing data analytical tools and resources available to the sales team and management.
  • Represent Big Happy at industry events
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, operations, account management and analytics teams.
  • Lead pipeline forecasting, sales reporting, win-loss reviews, and refinement of sales processes.
  • Stay abreast of market trends in AdTech, DOOH/OOH, programmatic advertising, measurement & data solutions to provide thought-leadership to clients.

  • Develop a best-in-class team onboarding, training, and coaching to maximize the performance of every sales team member at every stage of the sales cycle

  • Strengthen Big Happy’s market reputation by providing thought leadership, client case study opportunities, or through any other mechanisms. 
Minimum Entrance Requirements
  • 10+ years of working in the Advertising space (AdTech specifically a plus)
  • Demonstrated track record of surpassing sales targets
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing teams
  • Verifiable agency and/or client-direct relationships that can help drive revenue at major brands
  • Excellent written communications skills
  • Excellent Presentation skills and comfortable with public speaking engagements.
  • Comfortable with travel to and from events within US

Total Compensation: Starting at $400k+ (base + commissions)

Location: Midtown NYC (3 days per week in office)
